Navy screen

In Europa Universalis II, the navy screen is an information screen showing information about the player's Military unit (Europa Universalis II)#Naval_Units and naval techology. It can be accessed by clicking on the naval icon (anchor) on the top right of the controls window.

The navy screen contains the following information (top to bottom):

  • The country's current level of naval technology
  • Graphics representing how much shock, morale, and fire your naval units currently have when they are at full strength
  • Your progress towards the next level of naval technology
  • Your naval support limit (the number of ships you can build without paying extra
  • The number of ships you currently have (listing caravels, galleys, and transports in that order)
  • How many ducats you are currently paying to maintain your fleet
  • The maintenance slider, which allows you to reduce the cost of your naval units at the expense of a little bit of morale.
  • Information about the bonus effects that are gained at different levels of naval technology
